Here are nine tracks I made using a Nintendo DS and the Korg DS-10 application that has recently become available. The software is somewhat limited compared to other music production apps, but it's limitations force creativity and ingenuity to take over. Hope you like it! Download zip file

My good friend Branden sent the album to the fine folks at Opus Zine. I'm happy to say that even though it is but one review, it is quite positive. It's the least I could ask for, with the album having absolutely zero advertising and all. Thanks Branden and thank you Opus!
Well, all of the orders for the CD-R are in and the task of finishing the handmade covers and mastering the bonus tracks is at hand! Given the timing of all of this, they will be ready to ship at the very beginning of the new year. Thanks again for all those who ordered!
If you are interested in reserving a copy of 'Tiqvah!' (which means 'hope' in Hebrew), please let me know via email and include your shipping address . I will take requests until November 30th. I will only be able to accept Paypal. I hope that won't be a problem. Let me know if you have an idea for an alternative payment method that might work for me.
On a personal note, thank you all for downloading the album. I thank you for your kind words, they are a major encouragement. If you feel so inclined, please spread the word about Minikon. I think a grassroots / word-of-mouth thing would help tremendously. Thanks again!
The new album is now available for download through Cruxy for a paltry 7 dollars. I hope you enjoy it! Please let me know what you think! I am also going to do a limited run of CDRs with handmade covers which might include a limited Minikon T shirt, so if your interested just let me know so that I'll know how many to make. Thank you for you listening!
This little boy is named Baruch, which means 'blessed' in Hebrew. He was rescued from certain death by my wife, Vanessa. She was driving in the rain on an overpass when the car which was two cars ahead of her threw the kitten out of the car door. Vanessa watched in horror as the little guy was hit by the car in front of her. Acting completely out of uncontrollable compassion, she pulled her car over the stunned and stationary kitten to protect it from the traffic and rain. When she knelt down to see if he was dead or alive, she discovered that he had crawled into the wheel well to hide from the metal monster that bit his head. After trying without success to get him out, she just stood there feeling hopeless. Honking cars sped past with the occasional middle finger extended in honor of her tender heartedness. Eventually, one man stopped and banged on the hood (not a great idea), but he quickly gave up and left. With all other resources exhausted, Vanessa decided it was out of her hands. She prayed for God's help and when she was finished, she looked down to see the kitten sitting beside her and looking up as if to say "Thank you". She picked him up and rushed him to the vet. Baruch is a very fitting new name for this fellow, he was virtually unscathed by the incident and his new owners will take very good care of him.
Until now, Asleep in Tokyo (Minikon Live in Japan) has only been available through Japanese retailers, but it is now available to purchase as a digital download! You can find it, as well as the other two Minikon albums by clicking on the links in the left sidebar. Please, show me some love.
To those who check Minikon.com on a regular basis...
I'm sure both of you have noticed that I haven't updated in over a month. That's because 'Hope' is coming along very well and it consumes a lot of my calculator time, and by calculator I mean electronic computing box with email receptors. By time, I mean a measurable period during which an action, process, or condition exists or continues. Selah.
The album is at 70% completion and so far, it is without a doubt the biggest and best Minikon yet. I promise you, it will be worth the wait! (if you're waiting, find something else to do for about 4 months)
